A life spent in making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.

"First of all, begin to live out of the glory of your imagination, not your memory."

Where you live should not decide whether you live or whether you die.

The trip was about being vulnerable, but not afraid; about opening himself up like a tin can and exposing his guts to the wind and the sky, and somehow finding a way to go beyond his limits. If he could do that, salvation was his. This, he didn't have to remember. Working on salvation - each creature must do that on his own. No preacher could tell you how. No friend could ease the way. No one but you, yourself, could make peace that would last for eternity.

We all have a disability of some kind; all are lacking in one way or another. Saul has an injury to his leg. What if his personality was deformed? How much worse if his soul was lame? Preachers or teachers look for the good in all of us. (Bless them for doing so.) I don't see a cripple. I haven't met anyone yet who isn't handicapped in some way. So what's the big deal? Don't hide your deformity. Wear it like a Purple Heart.

Every person sets his or her destiny. This I am sure about. Nothing happens by chance. You make a plan and decide to make it happen.

Your mind is a powerful magnet that will attract to you the things you identify yourself with. If you have sad thoughts, you will attract tragedies. If you are a good man, you will attract the company of good people.

The stronger your will, the clearer and more defined your goals will be and the greater the ‘coincidences' that will appear in front of you, helping you get where you wish - Heaven or hell.  You decide what you want.

Can't you see that the dream that sprouts in your hearts is your mission on Earth? Live. Evolve. Don't be afraid of learning.

Instead of surrounding yourself with two hundred smarmy people, surround yourself with two friends who appreciate you for who you are, independently of what you own. Two hundred smarmy people will abandon you when you most need them, but two friends will be your legitimate army.
